About the Role

You will perform research, design, and data engineering assignments. You  will be joining our global team that is responsible for supporting 4 key global areas to ensure that each business unit is functioning at optimal efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Owning a group of data transfer collection setup, data transfer setup, contributor and customer setup
• Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to document, interpret, and finalize requirements
• Producing code that is efficient, repeatable, without defects, and adherent to best practices
• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of data components
• Completing data engineering bug fixes and issues, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate
• Identifying opportunities to apply automation or other tools to improve effectiveness or efficiency
• Collaborating internally to understand product requirements and translate them into data engineering and/or data management designs
• Overseeing specific database management ensuring structure and data flow adheres to department standards
• Working closely with other engineering team members to understand data and translate requirements
• Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders

Requirements

• Demonstrate good experience in data management area with a technical competencies
• Display file management skills
• Be able to work with data models
• Show proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: SQL, RDBMS, Python, R, Tableau.
• AWS redshift experience would be ideal but any cloud experience would be fine as well
• Need knowledge of Industry best practices and code coverage
• Display knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Show excellent knowledge of data manipulation languages
