The Business Unit Security Business Partner (BU SBP) role requires a combination of strong leadership and technical security experience. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of IT experience, experience in information security, along with relevant certifications like CISSP or CISM. This role involves managing security operations, advising on client security needs, and implementing CGI's Security Baseline.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the Enterprise Security Management Framework (ESMF) across the BU, ensuring that all security measures are aligned with CGI's global standards. You will take ownership of client security engagements, supporting reviews, audits, and responding to inquiries. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide strategic security guidance to leadership, influence decision-making, and help shape the security roadmap for both internal operations and client-facing projects. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly contribute to CGI’s security success.

Key Tasks:

• Implement the Enterprise Security Management Framework (ESMF) across the Business Unit (BU).
• Act as the primary point of contact for client security matters and Global Security functions.
• Support client security reviews, audits, and engage in client meetings.
• Review proposals for security risks and provide recommendations for compliance.
• Collaborate on security aspects of client presentations and business opportunities.
• Lead security education and training within the BU.
• Manage exceptions to the CGI Security Baseline and ensure alignment with Global Security initiatives.
• Support security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001) and re-certifications within the BU.
