Job Title: Project Engineer – Construction Support
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Starting from £42,215+ depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborating with seasoned project management professionals to improve the LEV Exhaust Ventilation in a number of BAE’s production facilities
Delivering Mechanical and Electrical Projects in live production facilities
Reviewing safety documentation and carrying out quality and safety audits
Supporting the execution of Project delivery in-line with the project schedule
Overseeing and coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of services in alignment with Project requirements
Facilitating the effective flow and exchange of technical information among relevant stakeholders
Your skills and experience:
Essential:
Mechanical or Electrical engineering HNC Qualified, or equivalent experience
CDM (Construction Design Management) regulations experience
Previous sub-contractor management experience
Desirable:
HVAC/LEV knowledge or experience
Knowledge of NEC contracts

The programme involves upgrading LEV systems to modern standards, improving the work environment for current and future teams. You’ll be joining a developing team where you’ll expand your skillset and gain exposure across the wider business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
