Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, the Director, Research & Analytics will oversee all research projects to support product/product marketing, corporate intelligence and thought leadership, and client initiatives.  As the lead marketing researcher, you will conduct consumer and marketplace research to deliver insights through the use of qualitative and quantitative studies, internal 1st-party data sets, and statistical analysis. Projects will include owning the semi-annual Media Quality report (MQR), building and curating a library of case studies, and collaborating with Corporate Marketing and the Data Science to develop thought leadership stories for use in white papers, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives. You will work with both internal teams and 3rd-party vendors, partners, and agency teams to collaborate on data collection, review, report preparation, analysis, craft data-driven stories, and communication to intended stakeholders.

Oversee complex measurement and analysis programs, incorporating inputs from a range of geographies and audiences.
Oversee insights reporting. Apply expertise and perspective to develop not just analysis, but directional insights and package, communicate findings and recommendations in a compelling way to senior/executive stakeholders.
Produce and market industry and vertical benchmarks and manage research projects from start to end with both internal and external analysts.
Partner with Corporate Communications and Demand Generation to create thought leadership platforms to promote client engagement and interaction, allowing IAS to demonstrate the value and relevance of our insight and analysis.
Support Product and Segment Marketers with research related to our customers/buyers and the competitive landscape.
Leverage surveys and analytics to uncover market needs and support business case for product roadmap.
Work closely with Account Management to identify case campaign successes and create compelling vertical-based case studies.
Foster innovation and thought leadership within IAS by engaging teams on research and knowledge sharing efforts.

Required Qualifications/Skills

7+ years experience in competitive intelligence, research, and product marketing.
Proven ability to research and analyze markets, products and competitors and translate that information into actionable intelligence, positioning campaigns and sales tools.
Excellent written skills and ability to quickly create differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with prospects, customers and internal stakeholders.
Industry experience in advertising technology
Excellent communication and presentation skills conveying key messages to senior and C-level executives
Leadership and influencing skills, strong ability to partner and work in a collaborative team environment.
Strong sense of accountability, ability to work independently and productively in an dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, market research.
MBA or other related graduate degree preferred.

Travel Requirement

Ability to travel as necessary (less than 20%) to support competitive intelligence, marketing, product, and sales initiatives.
