We’re scaling fast, and to support our growth, we’re hiring an SVP of Software Engineering — a senior technical leader responsible for driving engineering delivery across Autonomy and Software teams, and for bringing products to life from R&D through commercial deployment.
As SVP of Software Engineering, you will be the driving force behind execution and delivery across our software teams: Autonomy, AI, Applications, Ops, Platform, and Perception. Reporting to the CTO, leading from the front, by example, you’ll be accountable for the successful delivery of the DexoryView product, ensuring engineering excellence and alignment from first principles to real-world deployment.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity; managing a diverse team of technical experts, aligning R&D with product delivery, and ensuring customer outcomes are met through robust technical execution.
Lead the on-time execution and delivery of our technical roadmap across the Autonomy and Software teams, ensuring quality, scalability, and customer impact.
Own the full product development lifecycle, transitioning products from early R&D and prototyping (led by expert ICs) through deployment, commercialisation, and customer implementation.
Build and align multidisciplinary teams across autonomy, applications, tech ops, perception, and platform — ensuring high performance and technical excellence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Hardware, Client Operations, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to ensure cohesive product development and successful client outcomes.
Instil engineering discipline and delivery focus, introducing lightweight processes where needed to support clarity, speed, velocity, and accountability.
Drive a high-performance engineering culture obsessed with speed, extreme ownership, and relentless execution; where fast decision-making, uncompromising delivery standards, and a “results over excuses” mindset are non-negotiable.
Develop and scale engineering leaders, ensuring strong management layers and a high-trust, hyper fast delivery-driven culture.
Act as a voice of customer impact, making sure technical decisions are always connected to real-world outcomes and the shortest way to bring new products and features in production is achieved.
Experience leading large, high-performing software organisations in fast-moving, technically complex environments that span both R&D and commercial, production deployment.
A proven background in modern autonomous systems, robotics, aerospace, defence tech, or AI-driven hardware/software products.
Deep understanding of the full product lifecycle — from early-stage R&D to scaled commercial deployment with customers.
Experience in customer-partnered technical development, ensuring real-world deployment success.
Demonstrated success in driving execution and delivery within a complex full stack ecosystem.
A strong technical foundation; ideally in full stack systems AI, robotics, or autonomy — and the ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels.
Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills; capable of aligning diverse technical and business teams.
Experience of scaling high performing engineering teams and are able to bring along incredible star players
Proven ability to balance influence and authority, particularly when managing experienced technical experts.
