As an AI Engineer at Kainos, you’ll design and build end-to-end AI and ML solutions that deliver real impact for our customers. You’ll work in a small, collaborative team, turning ideas into working models that can be deployed and scaled across cloud platforms.
You’ll partner closely with Data Scientists, Platform Engineers, and Delivery Teams to ensure AI solutions are not just innovative — but usable, secure, and production-ready.
Design, build, and deploy AI and ML models into production on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Translate research and prototypes into scalable, maintainable solutions.
Collaborate with data engineers to prepare and optimise datasets for model training.
Work closely with platform engineers to ensure models integrate smoothly with client systems.
Apply good software engineering practices — testing, CI/CD, version control, and automation.
Continuously explore emerging AI technologies and their practical applications.
Strong programming skills in Python (experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn).
Hands-on experience deploying models to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Experience on MLOps practices and scalable data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
A passion for turning AI research into real-world solutions used by customers.
