We are seeking a Principal Architect to lead the design and evolution of JPMorgan Chase’s enterprise-wide data and AI platforms, enabling a firmwide Data Mesh, GenAI, and governance ecosystem. In this role you’ll collaborate with product owners, engineers, business stakeholders, and strategic vendors to define and implement strategic architecture using modern cloud-native technologies (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Starburst, Trino) and best-in-class software engineering practices. You will drive end-to-end data lifecycle solutions—spanning ingestion, management, governance, and consumption—to accelerate BI and AI/ML initiatives, ensure operational resilience, and meet regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in Python or Java, deep experience with public cloud and analytics services, and a proven track record of influencing change at the executive level.

You will be working in a high performing team of product owners and software engineers building a variety of cutting edge, cloud native, business-critical projects. It operates firmwide, liaising with every line of business to deliver innovative data management products, services and value add solutions.
