About the job
The Data Enablement Services Department comprises key teams, including Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, Customer Master (MDM), and Records Management.
The Metadata team is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of critical metadata across the enterprise. The team support many teams and capabilities across the business, helping us make healthier choices for Data by better understanding and proactively managing the integrity of our Enterprise Data Landscape.
The Metadata and Documentation Specialist is an important role within the Data Enablement Services function. The successful individual will build and develop technical skills in several key areas enabling data management technologies, delivering new metadata management services and features and developing a view of our critical data landscape.
You will capture, refine and document operational procedures, systems documentation and metadata to help build greater understanding of Admiral’s data and data systems. You will support the creation and curation of the business glossary and Enterprise Data Catalog, supporting the development and maintenance of an end-to-end data lifecycle management approach for our business domains and critical data assets.
