Lead Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer

About the Role

As the Lead Modelling and Simulation System Engineer, you will model architecture development and optimisation across our range of products and applications.

Key responsibilities include;

• Development of fully traceable system models
• Develop system requirements and translate them into subsystem requirements and interface definitions using MBSE techniques
• Design and integrate new functionality into existing sub-systems in Simulink
• Design, and prototype algorithms in MATLAB
• Provide MBSE support to system design activities 
• Support trade-offs analysis

About You

You will have proven experience as a Modelling and Simulation System Engineer, either through industry or advanced academic research.

Attributes required include:

• Expertise in one or more of the following, MATLAB, Simulink, CAMEO-SIM, MagicDraw and similar. (SysML/UML)
• Experience (or support) in mode development process and plans
• Experience (or support) in governing a model-based engineering approach
• Experience (or support) in model architecture development and optimisation

Nice to Have/Non Essential Skills:

• Electro Optics systems design
• Awareness of concept design and trade space analysis
• Experience/understanding of systems engineering lifecycle
• Awareness of model architecture development
