BMC Is looking for an UI Developer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate should have these characteristics:
• Self-starter that requires minimal oversight yet demonstrates consistent involvement with flexibility and good follow-through skills.
• Rationalizes large amounts of data to make decisions and build business cases.
• Shares BMC's passion for the customer
• Embraces change and works well in a fluid environment
• Expects, requires and demonstrates continuous innovation
• Excellent problem solver and out-of-box thinker
• Fast learner that can quickly synthesize ideas, information, and options into a strategy, plan, or response and effectively communicate it
Requirements To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
• Demonstrable experience in enterprise software product development.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript
• 6+ years of Web UI development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• 3+ years of experience in React (latest versions), progressive web application development (agnostic to which version)
• Experience working in small collaborative teams
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
• Experience with Angular
• Experience building SaaS applications
• 1+ years of Postgres and Elastic Search
• 2+ years of experience of RDMS
• An ability to communicate the design specification using block diagrams / modelling techniques (e.g. UML)
• Object-oriented modeling and design a plus
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub
