Overview
Enterprise Architects lead and drive collaboration to develop and deliver the enterprise architecture strategy and practices. This role ensures that these practices align with client segments and group strategy, accelerating progress towards the group's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Leadership: Set and drive the enterprise architecture strategy, leading road mapping, goal setting, project execution, and roll-out strategies in close partnership with client and internal stakeholders.
- Architectural Frameworks: Decide on viable architectural frameworks that support long-term maintainability, extensibility, and interoperability of group technologies and clients.
- Collaboration and Solutions: Collaborate with partners to demonstrate solutions, answer complex questions regarding technology capabilities and requirements, and resolve issues during implementations.
- Assessments and Roadmaps: Drive architectural assessments, technology selection, and technology roadmaps.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Manage alignment with cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle to empower decision-making.
- Risk Management: Lead the identification and mitigation of existing business risks or risks associated with enterprise architecture.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Operate as an SME within your field, acting as an expert advisor to other teams and senior management on complex enterprise architecture issues. Provide consultation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in system capabilities.
- Consultation and Specialization: Shape consultation on complex projects and be recognized as a top-level specialist.
- Innovation: Lead the development of innovative services or products within enterprise architecture.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach experienced professionals to develop current and future team capabilities and ensure performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to enhance enterprise architecture processes through monitoring system performance.
