When our customers need help, we’re there for them. Our self-service and agent-led channels make sure customers get a great experience with us, every time. To ensure we’re delivering on our promise, we communicate with customers over multiple channels, including phone, live chat and social media.

Powering these interactions is a wide variety of tooling. In this ever-evolving landscape, we blend front-end design with back-end architecture, always maintaining a user-centric mindset. About the role:

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently while maintaining clear priorities, focusing teams on the highest value outcomes
  • You’ll be collaborating with other Product people, engineers, architects, designers and our users to make sure the new features we introduce are exactly what’s needed.
  • Strong technical understanding with a hands on approach to product and technology.
  • Confidence in setting expectations and making clear trade off decisions, including saying no when needed.
  • Ability to navigate and manage strong viewpoints within cross functional teams.
  • Very strong prioritisation skills.

What we’re looking for:

  • We’d love you to have worked in a product manager role with experience Integrations – but if you think you’re right for the role and don’t have this experience, we still want to hear from you
  • You drive efficient and effective product processes e.g. agile ceremonies and on point documentation.
  • You really get the customer and can translate business requirements into clear user stories and sprint goals for the team.
  • You’re technically curious, as you’ll be working directly with engineers, architects, and third parties, building real software. You ask the right questions so that you can help others understand your product.
  • You’re here to learn – there’s lots to absorb. Plus, we’re a big product community so you can hone your product skills here too. 
  • You’re courageous and understand that failing forward isn’t really failing at all. You’ll work with the team to weigh up the data and risks to try new and exciting solutions.
  • A people person. You’ll build great relationships We need people who want to help us build a brilliant team culture and make Sainsbury’s a great place to work.
