Job Title: Governance and Process Advisor (Edgewing)

Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £46,078+ (DOE)

Job Description:

This role supports the Process & Governance Manager in developing and improving programme processes to meet required standards, as well as establishing a governance framework that enables effective process definition, execution, and implementation, alongside the overall programme governance model.

Core duties:

• Develop and implement consistent governance processes
• Ensure processes, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions are clearly defined, mapped, and controlled through configuration and change management
• Work with the Internal Assurance team to monitor compliance
• Support ongoing improvements to processes
• Contribute to the development of a strategic roadmap for PM&C operational capability

Essential Skills:

• Experience developing governance frameworks, models, standards, process templates, and review cycles
• Experience designing, implementing, and improving processes across projects and programmes
• Working knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. ISO)
• Familiarity with business management systems and standard Office tools used for process development and management
• Previous experience in a project management environment or a relevant qualification
