  • Hands-On Testing – design and execute tests across front and backend, automated and manual 
  • Bug tracking and Triage – experience with bug tracking software, eg Jira, Bugzilla, Redmine 
  • Quality Advocacy – involvement throughout the development process, ensuring a solution that fits and aligning to internal best practices and standards 
  • Practical API Testing Experience – either Restful or GraphQL APIs, JSON HTTP requests, response codes, headers and API design 
  • Automated Testing – proficiency with a language, e.g. TypeScript, Ruby, Python; to follow and contribute to automated tests 
  • Agile Methodology – experience with Scrum or Kanban and software development cycle delivering iterative value 
  • Effective Communication – strong written and communication skills for clear collaboration with development team members and business stakeholders 
  • CI/CD Proficiency – knowledge of the test automation best practices in CI/CD and tools such as Github actions. 
  • Self-Sufficient – able to operate independently in a cross functional team without micromanagement, in a milestone delivery environment 
  • AWS Experience – Understanding of the AWS ecosystem and its core services, or other cloud services 
  • Database exposure – familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, or search indexes such as Elasticsearch 
  • Familiarity with Frontend Technology – experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks 
  • Analytical Approach – ability to explore ‘what if’ scenarios 
  • Knowledge of AI and LLMs – understanding of artificial intelligence concepts
