We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy Talent Recruiting Team Lead to drive specialist recruitment for mid-level and niche roles. The successful candidate will act as a player-coach – taking responsibility, with the Recruiters to execute hiring strategies against the full recruitment life cycle, as well as lead a team.  They will leverage data and technology to streamline processes and attract top talent and will foster a high-performance and continuous improvement culture. 

Accountabilities

  • Lead a team of recruiters focused on specialist hiring for various roles within market, driving a high performance and continuous improvement culture with a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Drive, adopt and optimize recruiting technology to automate and accelerate the hiring funnel, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) tools, AI sourcing platforms, and automated screening solutions.
  • Adopt a data led approach to; develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet ambitious hiring targets for the market and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate) to identify areas for improvement and report on progress to leadership.
  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand their needs, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
  • Coach, mentor, and train the recruiting team on best practices, new technologies, and effective sourcing techniques.
  • Stay current on industry trends in recruiting specialist hiring to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate and partner with Global Capability Centers as part of our core service delivery model to deliver a seamless process and exceptional experience.  

  Skills and Experience

  • Deep experience in recruiting in a leadership or team lead capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing specialist recruitment, delivering to ambitious hiring targets.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with various recruiting technologies (e.g., ATS, CRM, sourcing tools, automated screening).
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive efficiencies, inform decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with the talent market and an understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.

This role is based within the UK with successful applicants ideally located within one of our main hubs in Birmingham, Leeds or London.
