As a Product Delivery Manager in Compute Infrastructure, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way. 
 

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners 
  • Works with engineering and product to develop comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, budget estimation and milestone development for on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Develops and reports performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the progress of workstreams
  • Champions the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
  • Develops communication materials for senior management that provide transparency on progress, problems, and risks
  • Leads and tracks day-to-day execution of the mentioned initiatives; uses data driven analytics to bring improvements and optimizations
  • Provides early warning on potential roadblocks, propose solutions, identify interdependencies
  • Works with risk and audit team to ensure anytime audit readiness; develops mitigation plans as necessary
  • Drives vendor engagements with companies like Hashicorp, Solo and other’s to address interdependencies and escalate issues, if required

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex programs involving systems, processes, and organizational changes
  • Expertise in KPI and metrics reporting, SDLC, project management tools, Gantt charts etc. 
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proven entrepreneurial drive to identify opportunities for impact and influence others to act
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as an individual contributor coordinating work across matrixed teams
  • Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical and qualitative tools to develop solutions
  • Significant experience with PowerPoint for executive-level documents, meetings, and presentations aligning senior stakeholders on regulatory messages and Excel-based models for analysis and planning

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools (e.g., Pi, JIRA, Confluence), and techniques
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint. Exposure to new gen tools like Chat GPT will be an added advantage
  • Experience in managing application remediation or application migrations
