Accounts Receivable Clerk

Bay Disposal looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our Norfolk, VA location. We need a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys problem‑solving, improving processes, and delivering excellent internal and external customer support. What You’ll Do

• Reconcile AR and cash accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
• Post customer payments in a timely manner
• Support weekly and monthly billing processes as needed
• Review and enter credit/debit adjustments
• Investigate and resolve customer billing or payment discrepancies
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support special projects assigned by the Controller

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑motivated mindset with a drive to improve processes and solve problems
