As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firmâs business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and Implement RPA Solutions: Build, test, and deploy automation workflows and bots using UiPath Studio, integrating Python scripts as needed for advanced data processing
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities, collaborating with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to deliver effective solutions
- Integrate Python scripts within UiPath workflows for data processing and automation tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation solutions
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and process changes
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- 4+ years of experience in RPA automation
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio (workflow design, activities, debugging, deployment)
- Working knowledge of Python (basic scripting, data manipulation, use of libraries)
- Understanding of RPA concepts, best practices, and lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with REST APIs and web automation
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Exposure to Agile/Kanban and JIRA etc. for project management and planning
