MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing specialized expertise for the cloud providers used by the Government.
- Assessing and making recommendations for cost, security, and viability of IT projects in the cloud and supporting general engineering activities by creating, testing, and maintaining cloud-hosted IT infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline and seven (7) years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s: Associates’ degree and 10 years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.
- Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CySA+ or equivalent) or ability to obtain one within 180 days.
- Experience in researching, evaluating and deploying advanced cloud computing systems supporting large data analytics.
- Knowledge with various cloud technologies and experience in providing infrastructure support in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Ability to travel domestically.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
