MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing specialized expertise for the cloud providers used by the Government.
Assessing and making recommendations for cost, security, and viability of IT projects in the cloud and supporting general engineering activities by creating, testing, and maintaining cloud-hosted IT infrastructure.
Ability to travel domestically.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant experience in information technology, leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements.
Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CySA+ or equivalent) or ability to obtain one within 180 days.
Experience in researching, evaluating and deploying advanced cloud computing systems supporting large data analytics.
Knowledge with various cloud technologies and experience in providing infrastructure support in a hybrid cloud environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline; Three (3) additional years of experience with an Associate’s degree.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
