As a Test Analyst you will join the Business Systems Solutions department, working within the Testing team and collaborating with the internal development team to enhance our applications portfolio.
Overview
The Business Systems Solutions (BSS) department is focused on delivering systems and solutions to the Business. The team utilises various technologies to provide custom built solutions and implement third party products and services. We support processes in driving effectiveness, efficiency, scalability and sustainability..
As a Test Analyst within the team you will be responsible for producing documentation, providing information and updates to the team and working closely with the automation testers and the development team.
Test Automation represents a big focus within the team, providing a standardised regression testing approach across all solutions.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or the relevant commercial experience.
· Experience writing technical documentation
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Keen eye for/excellent attention to detail
· Ability to handle multiple streams of work simultaneously
· Ability to react well to rapidly changing requirements with a positive attitude
· Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practices.
Main Repsonsibilites:
· Understanding the business and technical requirements of testing items allocated to the team.
· Escalating issues affecting delivery and quality to management in a timely manner.
· Providing exhaustive and quality test coverage for both bespok and third party integration solutions
· Reporting on defects, test progress and projects milestone
