JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Product Associate in Card Data Product, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers and partners.  As a leader on the team, you leverage capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the user experience, design and build out of an Analytics environment for a new strategic partner for Card and enable scale for the business.  The environment will provide users with robust querying and modelling capabilities to ensure high performance and scale.  The scope covers the build out of the platform from a user journey perspective across internal and external personas to have access to their data products, reporting, key metrics and visualization, and ML / AI modelling capabilities.  The role presents the opportunity to build a scalable environment that enables other partners in the future. 

You will be required to work with business analysts and senior business leads to understand their business outcomes to drive insights using existing, or brand new data product curation.  As a product manager in this area you will also be focused on a new key partnership won by the Card business and be expected to delivering a scalable solution for their consumption working with business stakeholders / analysts, engineers and architects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder management and demonstrated ability to engage with diverse set of stakeholders.

  • work with working on data platform work from data pipelines, analytical tooling & BI tools (Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Initiate self-starter that takes initiative and has demonstrated effectiveness working independently and in multi-disciplinary team with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently and influence senior stakeholders
  • Partner with data owners, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant data product solutions and generative AI solutions.
  • Analyze data, extract actionable insights, and connect findings to business strategy, highlighting the importance of data quality and centralized data management in a data lake & Hands-on exposure to tools such as Snowflake and can dive into the detail

  • Deliver success in delivering enterprise-scale data products with measurable business outcomes & Design in API-first product design, data governance, and real-time data processing.
  • Demonstrate time management skills, with an ability to multitask and work under pressure and engage with colleagues across time zones (US / India).
  • Translates business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams & Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives 

  • Lead modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures such as AWS and Data Lake.
  • Manage data analytics – advanced ability to analyze and interpret data, identify themes, strengths and opportunities and rationalize data to deliver meaningful and commercial metrics for all projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition and value management
  • Experience in driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with different data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake and Data Bricks
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with them
  • Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling and data architecture

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • High proficient in data querying with languages as Python, R, Perl, SQL
  • Experience in product development
  • Experience in data platform management / development
  • Proficiency with BI & analytic tools (Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks)
