The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for maintaining security solutions for our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the protection of our data, applications, and systems against cyber threats. The Cloud Security Engineer will help manage our cloud security, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures whilst working under the guidance of the Cloud Principal Engineers.

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure the cloud platforms are complying to security standards and there is a remediation process.
  • To improve security posture of Cloud environments hosted in our strategic hosting providers.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to improve the security controls and configurations within the technologies
  • Collaborate with the security teams to tune and optimize security tools and processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in security engineering and at least 2 years using Azure
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as CASBs, CSPMs, CWPPs, CNAPPs
  • Good understanding of DevSecOps and IaC skills (like Terraform)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Cloud Security technologies. You will be expected to demonstrate hands-on expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
