Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. We welcome applications from candidates across the UK, and Northern Ireland, and occasional travel to Belfast will be required. This will likely be a few visits anticipated at the beginning of the projects and approximately every three to six months thereafter. When not working on client site, you may work remotely or from your nearest CGI office.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the technical direction and architectural design of Salesforce solutions, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure implementations that meet client objectives. You’ll act as a trusted technical authority, defining best practices, guiding the development lifecycle, and ensuring solutions align with both business goals and CGI’s delivery standards.
You will work closely with developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to shape sprints and priorities, while fostering a collaborative environment where innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement thrive.
Key responsibilities:
• Architect & Lead: Define Salesforce technical architecture and integration strategies across multiple clouds.
• Guide & Mentor: Support developers in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API development.
• Govern & Deliver: Oversee code quality, peer reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Collaborate & Align: Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to plan and deliver sprint outcomes.
• Innovate & Optimise: Introduce best practices in DevOps, performance, and design scalability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You should bring deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, with a proven record of leading complex, enterprise-level implementations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are key to success in this role.
Essential qualifications:
• Extensive Salesforce development and architecture experience.
• Proven ability to define and deliver scalable, secure Salesforce solutions.
• Expertise in Apex, LWC, API integration, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent experience preferred.
