We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to join DXC Technology’s Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation programme. This is a pivotal role where you will help shape the foundation of a major transformation—ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and ready to support the organisation from day one.

You’ll play a central role in designing and delivering a thoughtful, end‑to‑end data migration approach, bringing legacy data into the new SAP landscape with care, precision, and confidence. Working in close partnership with business and technical teams, you’ll help create a shared understanding of data, build trust in outcomes, and support successful go‑live and long‑term adoption.

About the role

As SAP Data Migration Lead, you will be the programme’s trusted authority on data migration, guiding strategy and delivery across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and technical domains. You’ll bring clarity, structure, and reassurance to complex data challenges, ensuring quality, consistency, and readiness at every stage of the journey.

You will facilitate Explore workshops to define scope, legacy sources, and transformation logic, and you’ll coordinate mock loads, reconciliation cycles, and validation activities. A core part of your role will be fostering strong collaboration, resolving issues constructively, and helping stakeholders feel confident in the integrity of the data moving into S/4HANA.

What you’ll do

• Thoughtfully define migration scope, legacy data sources, and transformation rules
• Develop, own, and govern the end‑to‑end data migration strategy and execution plan
• Lead mock loads, reconciliation cycles, and data validation activities with care and precision
• Partner closely with functional teams to agree business rules, data ownership, and acceptance criteria
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), collaborating to resolve defects and reduce risk
• Maintain clear, comprehensive migration documentation, audit logs, and compliance evidence
• Work collaboratively with cutover and testing teams to align plans, timelines, and dependencies
• Mentor and support junior analysts, contributing to improved data governance and shared learning across the programme

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience delivering SAP data migration within S/4HANA Greenfield programmes
• A strong understanding of legacy systems, data structures, and transformation approaches
• Hands‑on experience with LSMW, BODS, LTMC, ETL tools, and SAP Data Services
• Knowledge of reconciliation methods, audit controls, and business validation processes
• A proven ability to coordinate across functions, encourage alignment, and guide stakeholders through complex decisions
• Consultancy background and ideally experience in presales/solutioning

• SAP S/4HANA, SAP LTMC, SAP BODS, LSMW, SAP Data Services
• JIRA, Confluence, SAP Solution Manager
• SAP Activate and Agile delivery frameworks

Desired qualifications

• Degree in Data Management, IT, Business, or a related discipline
• SAP Data Migration certification (preferred)
• PMP, data governance, or related credentials (desirable)
