To be successful as a Business Analyst , you should have experience with:
Very strong knowledge of Payment System and functionals domain experience and a thorough understanding of different schemes like FED/CHIPS in USA, CHAPS in UK , TARGET2 in EU and payment business functions.
Strong experience in business and functions designs and managing complex business requirements and reviewing the solution and hands on experience on updating requirements and solutions documents like HLS/IRD/IDD/FRSD.
Hands on experience on providing detailed requirement writing , walkthrough and provide functional support to the team and Excellent understanding of payment E2E flows along with good understanding of the functional design aspects.
Awareness about industry/regulatory changes and the impact thereof and overview about micro-services architecture – open-source tools and Able to propose solutions within payments architecture
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in Agile methodologies and artefacts like user story, Kanban board etc. and Hands-on exposure on common tools such as Jira, Rally and/or devops/automation tools
E2E landscape overview of the payment processing system and exposure to ISO message format and the parsing mechanism
Cross functional/technical skills (Technology skills in development & Test automation) and Good understanding of platforms such as Cloud, AWS and other containerisation tools.
Knowledge / experience of payment applications GPP – 'Global Pay Plus' and utilities will add advantage.
