- Strong MongoDB architecture and optimization expertise
Engineer 4 acts as a senior technical leader responsible for backend architecture, technical direction, and delivery excellence. The role involves mentoring engineers and driving scalable backend platform development.
- Lead backend architecture and technical solution design
- Build and optimize scalable Node.js services
- Drive MongoDB performance and data architecture improvements
- Lead code reviews and engineering standards
- Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions
- Resolve complex production and scalability challenges
- Drive reliability, security, and performance improvements
- Expert knowledge of Node.js backend systems
- Strong MongoDB architecture and optimization expertise
- Experience designing distributed or microservice systems
- Experience technically leading engineering teams
- Strong production debugging and performance tuning experience
- Experience with event-driven or streaming systems
- Advanced cloud architecture exposure
- Real-time platform experience
- Network or telecom domain experience
Design, implement, and maintain software and web applications with a strong focus on Data Engineering.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient architecture and code.
Adhere to best software engineering practices and integrate knowledge of business and functional priorities.
Emphasize automation and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Contribute to the development and improvement of application metrics.
Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
Stay current with the latest technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, Databricks, and Databases, and proactively suggest improvements to optimize applications.
Required Experience and Skills:
8–10 years of experience in software design and development, with a focus on Node JS
Strong MongoDB architecture and optimization expertise
Experience designing distributed or microservice systems
Proven technical leadership, strong communication, and collaboration skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Proficient in Python, with solid understanding of concurrent processing.
Hands-on experience in developing complex ETL applications using Apache Spark and SQL.
Strong experience with AWS infrastructure/ecosystem, including: S3, Lambda, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, Kinesis/Kafka, SNS, SQS.
Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and frameworks like Flask or Django.
Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes for application development.
Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks such as pytest, cucumber, etc.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, or Concourse.
Qualifications
8+ Years of Software/Engineering overall industry experience
Experience in NodeJS, MongoDB, SQL & AWS is mandatory
