We have an opening for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team that plays a vital role in supporting the ingestion and processing of real-time streaming events, a crucial component in the creation of our Customer Data Platform (CDP) product. Your contributions will directly impact customer segmentation, enhance automated customer journeys, and greatly extend the insights and recommendations we give to our customers to help them be successful marketers of their small to medium businesses.

- Manage complex technical projects and teams deeply rooted in data
- Drive the Agile principles and ensure a high performing team
- Hire, mentor, and grow passionate individuals who work well in strong teams
- Lead and motivate the very best software engineers, gaining their respect
- By applying your mix of intelligence, initiative, integrity, domain knowledge, verbal agility, and diplomacy, rapidly earn the trust of astute teams and individuals across the company
Who you are:
- 8+ years of industry experience with 3+ years of proven track record as a manager leading successful software teams in a data-driven environment
- Experience with real time data streaming is necessary to be successful in this role
- Must be comfortable programming in Java
- Experience with Apache Flink and Kubernetes
- Experience with a broad mix of technologies including Java, Go, React, AWS, CI/CD, Automated Testing, MySQL
- SaaS experience and a track record of design and implementation for scaling large systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
