Why this Job Matters? |
|
The RAN network has grown increasingly complex over recent years. We now have 4 technology layers, 8 possible carriers, with more due this year. This is all split over three main macro vendors each of which can be installed in hundreds on combinations. The role holder will be responsible for delivering the E2E technical solutions deployed within the RAN, this includes complete Radio Network Design (All technologies) and ensuring that the produced design meets the quality within the agreed time frame to keep EE number 1. The role will cover hardware, software and radio feature design and introduction across Macro, Micro and Small cells. Ensure the work is delivered with the high standard in the challenging timeframe. |

Specific Job Requirements |

Work with Design Manager and Technology leads to deliver and deploy the designs as per the agreed network strategy within the software cycles. Co-ordinate with vendors and test partners to meet the business needs. |
