The primary objective of this role is to maximise the efficiency and scale of our marketing budget. You will bridge the gap between complex data science and commercial execution, ensuring that every £1 spent returns at least £1.50. You will be the "analytical conscience" of our marketing spend, providing the Digital Marketing team with the data-driven confidence to scale or pivot their investment strategy.
ROI Attribution & Modeling: Use advanced coding and data science techniques to accurately calculate our current return on marketing spend across all channels.
Predictive Optimisation: Leverage AI and machine learning to forecast the impact of budget shifts, advising on where to increase investment and where to pull back.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a key partner to the Digital Marketing leadership team, translating technical data findings into actionable commercial advice.
Performance Scaling: Identify opportunities to increase total spend while maintaining a strict ROAS floor
Tooling & Automation: Build and maintain the data pipelines and models that allow for real-time or near-real-time visibility into marketing performance.
Coding & Data Science: Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and data manipulation.
Analytics: Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualisation (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
Marketing Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital marketing attribution, incrementality testing, and Media Mix Modeling (MMM).
Commercial Acumen: The ability to look past the "code" and understand the P&L impact of marketing decisions.
