Publica is the publisher-focused arm of Integral Ad Science, leading the charge in advertising technology for connected television (CTV). As audiences transition from linear TV to digital, our mission is to deliver innovative ad experiences on the big screen, enhancing viewer engagement and maximizing publisher revenue.

What We Need to Build Together:

Publica’s platform integrates a CTV ad server with a real-time bidding solution that facilitates a competitive auction between direct sales and over 50 video Sell Side Platforms (SSPs). Our tools also allow publishers to measure and verify their inventory, harnessing the advanced capabilities of IAS to ensure transparency and optimize ad performance.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Own and Execute Projects: Take ownership of assigned product initiatives, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time, and with high quality. Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and drive projects to completion.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, UX/UI, Data Science, and other teams to translate business needs into well-defined product requirements. Maintain strong communication to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Process and Workflow Optimization: Help streamline product development workflows, ensuring clear documentation, smooth execution, and continuous improvement in how we deliver features.
  • Customer-Focused Development: Gather and incorporate feedback from users, customers, and internal teams to refine and enhance products based on real-world needs.
  • Ownership & Proactive Problem-Solving: Proactively identify gaps or opportunities in assigned projects, propose solutions, and drive execution with minimal hand-holding.

You Should Apply If You Have Most of This Experience:

  • Product Management Experience: 1-3 years of experience in product management, preferably in a tech-driven environment or experience as a Solutions Architect or similar client-facing technical role, where you were responsible for providing technical solutions, collaborating with product teams, and driving implementations on behalf of clients.
  •  Familiarity with digital products or SaaS is a plus
  • Project Execution: Proven ability to take product requirements and execute them effectively, collaborating across teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical concepts.
    • SQL Proficiency (Required): Must have hands-on experience querying databases (e.g., Athena, MySQL, Databricks, Snowflake) for analysis and insights.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Extensive experience in data analysis and deriving actionable insights. Must be able to break down complex problems using data, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on quantitative evidence.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly document requirements, work cross-functionally, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Team Player Mentality: Comfortable being led and mentored while demonstrating independence and initiative in driving projects forward.

  • AWS Experience (Nice to Have): Familiarity with AWS services, particularly navigating Athena and S3.
  • Command Line (Nice to Have): Comfortable using command-line tools for interacting with data and performing basic operations.

California Applicants: The salary range for this position is $88,900 - $152,400. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
