Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Strong hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master in large‑scale Agile environments.
Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Lean principles.
Experience working within regulated or complex enterprise environments.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate effectively across technology, business, and change functions.
Demonstrates Barclays LEAD behaviors: servant leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drives team ownership and accountability for outcomes.
Coaches rather than direct; enables rather than controls.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) ensuring time‑boxed, outcome‑driven execution.
Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and delivery predictability.
Ensure Agile practices are consistently applied and adapted to the team context.
Flow Optimization & Impediment Management - Identify, track, and remove delivery impediments impacting team flow and predictability.
Use delivery metrics (velocity, flow, predictability, quality indicators) to enable data‑driven improvement.
Shield the squad from unplanned work and external disruption.
Coaching & Team Performance - Coach teams on Agile mindset, behaviors, and continuous improvement.
Foster a psychologically safe environment that promotes accountability, transparency, and learning.
Enable high‑performing team attributes aligned with Barclays Ways of Working.
Stakeholder & Dependency Management -Act as the primary interface between the squad and internal/external stakeholders.
Manage cross‑team dependencies, risks, and escalations proactively.
Represent the squad in governance forums, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
This role will be based out of Pune.
