About Deal Support Team
The Deal Support Team (DST) provides support to the Corporate and Business Banking origination teams through research, analysis and operational support. It provides end to end support in the deal value chain, right from prospect generation to pitchbook and engagement books to support initial client meeting or annual discussions with the existing customers. It also supports Coverage teams with performance management insights, data, reporting and business management support
Overall purpose of role
To be successful in this role as a “Assistant Vice President", you should possess the following skillsets:
Provide research, data & insights support to UK sales & service team
Deliver customer insight through identifying and analysing data from multiple sources to improve understanding of our customers, competitors and market place
Support the onshore Coverage COO / Sales Management team with ad-hoc requests and provide recommendations towards in depth analysis on business improvement initiatives. (e.g. attrition, cost, Income, product penetration etc.)
Support the agenda of UK Corporate Coverage leadership and strategic decision making for senior stakeholders like Managing Directors, Directors, Sx level, this includes periodic interactions and email exchanges on regular basis, , influencing key decisions through robust analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Data Analysis
Independently manage data analysis from critical banking systems like, TERADATA, BIW, Salesforce, Cognos Cube, FAME and create actionable intelligence meant for strategic decision making by senior stakeholders like Managing Directors, Directors, Sx level
Deliver BAU and bespoke data analysis from agreed sources to inform and identify customer segments, wants and needs
Ability to work independently and proactively on specific projects
Service Delivery
Drive project delivery, working and coordinating with all the stakeholders
Deliver insightful analysis and assist in the development of client leave behinds
Conduct overall financial and market/industry research to contribute business logic to deliverables
Ensure the highest quality and accuracy standards are achieved in all market and industry research and that it matches the requirements

Design, execution and embedding of an ongoing roadmap to provides market leading Tools for RDs and Coverage.
