We are seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our global IT team. In this role, you will implement and maintain our network infrastructure and security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in network administration, architecture, and security protocols, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance in a multi-cloud environment.

Additionally, you will collaborate with our workforce services team to support our international office locations, providing onsite engagement and fostering strong partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, and manage robust office network systems, addressing technical inquiries, offering expert support, and working closely with customers to design solutions and resolve issues.
• Act as a liaison between the workforce service team and users, ensuring effective communication and resolution of network issues, with a focus on supporting international Verisk offices.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Implement and oversee security measures such as network access control.
• Conduct regular security policy audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Document procedures, and incidents
• Automate network tasks and assess their effectiveness.
• Mentor workforce team members and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Expertise in designing and implementing large global office network deployments, focusing on secure, high-performance, and scalable networking. Preference for experience with Aruba Networking products.
• Proficiency in network security technologies, including ZTNA, SASE, SD-WAN, and CASB. Preference for experience with Zscaler products.
• 3+ years in network troubleshooting, particularly in high-performance, low-latency environments including wireless access points, Zscaler, Cisco routers & switches.

• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Splunk).
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to mentor others.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related subject.
• May require up to 35-50% domestic and international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud networking and security. (e.g., AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) or other languages that can support infrastructure and platform automation.
• Knowledge of access control models and network security.
• Knowledge of ZTNA, Zscaler Secure Access in Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA).
• Certification in the following areas: Aruba SDWAN (AASP), ZCCA-PA, and ZCCA-IA.
