The Role
We’re expanding our Engineering team and are looking for a talented Integration Engineer to join us on a full-time basis.
As an Integration Engineer, you’ll play a key role within a cross-functional Scrum team, collaborating closely with our software development teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions. You’ll provide technical expertise and innovative solution options to ensure seamless integration of Envitia’s software and systems, supporting the development of cutting-edge geospatial and data solutions.
Job Responsibilities
· Act as a key liaison between internal security teams, third-party development teams, and external suppliers to ensure seamless integration.
· Troubleshoot technical issues effectively and proactively, bringing a problem-solving mindset and a continuous learning approach.
· Support application integration efforts by understanding network architecture, managing virtual machines, and deploying software applications.
· Own and lead the end-to-end integration testing of systems to ensure quality and reliability.
· Collaborate with engineers to ensure solutions meet architecture, design, and performance requirements.
· Assess and evaluate software and systems to optimise the performance of hardware and computing environments.
· Integrate existing software products, enabling interoperability across previously incompatible platforms.
Skills Required
Essential:
· Extensive knowledge of systems integration across a broad range of technologies and environments.
· Strong experience with modern integration tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Fabric, to support next-generation modular SaaS application integration.
· Hands-on expertise with automation and orchestration tools including PowerShell, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
· Working knowledge of DevOps practices, containerisation (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS, with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, as well as both Linux and Windows operating systems.
· Familiarity with development tools and processes, including Git and Azure DevOps, as well as modern software development frameworks.
· Quick to learn and adapt—demonstrates a strong ability to pick up new technologies and tools efficiently.
· Experience working directly with customers on system integration activities, providing a high level of service and communication.
· Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
· Experience or understanding of the Geospatial / GIS industry is a strong advantage.
Security Clearance Requirements
The successful candidate must hold or be required to go through an SC security clearance.
Location
2 days a month in our Horsham offices and some travel required to customer sites when required.
