Director, Data & AI Product Management

This role provides the accountability and product ownership globally for GSK, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Data & AI Product Management within the Supply Chain & Network Strategy function. You will be responsible for defining and refining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while bridging the gap between business and technology. The role requires strong expertise in data analytics, product management, and stakeholder collaboration to drive adoption and deliver high-value solutions.

Additionally, you will oversee the transition from proof-of-value innovations to industrialized solutions, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The role also includes demand management, performance tracking, and alignment with business priorities to maximize the value of data-driven initiatives.

Your Responsibilities Include…

• Strategy & Roadmap Development:

  • Own and manage a Data & Analytics (D&A) product domain within GSK’s Pharmaceutical and Vaccines Supply Chains.
  • Define and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate strategic goals into deployment patterns and actionable product roadmaps.

• Product & Innovation Management:

  • Manage the transition from alpha to beta industrialization for data innovations, ensuring seamless integration into live product teams.
  • Oversee a portfolio of mission-critical data products and services, ensuring their successful deployment and adoption.
  • Lead demand prioritization and product lifecycle management across multiple business functions.

• Performance & Value Tracking:

  • Develop and maintain common standards for measuring product success, efficiency, and value delivery.
  • Continuously evaluate product impact, leveraging data insights to refine strategies and optimize performance.
  • Apply Agile, DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps methodologies to improve service delivery.

• Stakeholder & Team Management:

  • Collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Establish Single Points of Contact (SPoC) across portfolios to consolidate and manage demand effectively.
  • Lead a D&A Guild for Analytics Product Management, aligning cross-functional teams on data requirements and priorities.

• Operational & Budget Management:

  • Oversee a balanced CapEx/OpEx model, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Implement performance management processes to optimize workflow and maximize return on investment.
  • Partner with finance and portfolio management teams to track budgets and drive cost-effective decision-making.

Basic Qualifications:

• Significant experience in portfolio management within large-scale global Life Sciences or FMCG industries.
• Strong background in Technology Consulting, Product Management, and Data & Analytics.
• Proven experience leading multi-million-pound CapEx projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders across different time zones.
• Hands-on knowledge of various project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
• Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry-recognized qualifications in Product Management, Agile, SAFe, Portfolio Management, or DevOps.
• Experience managing global operational services and infrastructure.
• Passion for enhancing the customer experience through data-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with emerging AI/ML technologies and their application in supply chain analytics.
