REMOTE Tribal Technology Consultant

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Tribal Technology Consultant that can lend insight into Tribal data and IT systems. This position will function in an advisory capacity related to client solution development and delivery.

**Based on client requirements, the ideal candidate will reside in Central Time Zone or West Coast Time Zone**


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Conduct needs assessments, develops IT strategic plans, and provide consultations to Tribes on a variety of information technology process improvement issues.
• Support the oversight and execution of defined strategies with Tribes across the country
• Collaborate with Childcare SMEs, Strategy SMEs, and other Technology SMEs who are supporting other States, Territories, and Tribes
• Work with managers and clients to gather business requirements, identify deliverables, and support IT strategies
• Act as a subject matter expert to provide the vision and strategy for application modernization from a Tribal lens
• Provide strategic direction for client deliverables
• Analyze a situation and formulate effective solutions
• Ability to make technical decisions regarding solutions and how they impact business outcomes
• Translating system requirements
• Risk identification and management
• Integrate with the Child Care Technical Assistance Network (CCTAN) to collaborate and coordinate technical assistance delivery,


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Extensive Tribal technology experience (preferably within child, youth, or family serving programs)
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to see the connection between layers of business applications
• Superior communication skills
• Experience in a Consulting capacity
• Public sector consulting experience a plus
