  • Hybrid Working - This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the Bracknell or London Head Offices. There will however, also be an expectation to visit other locations as required, such as branch locations.

 

  • Expected Salary - The salary range for this role is set at £57,600 - £70,000

About The Role

 

The effective delivery of the Partnership strategy is critical to our continued growth. The enterprise-level Transformation Office (TxO) supports the Partnership’s journey towards sustained growth and innovation. It is responsible for overseeing, tracking, and safeguarding the delivery of the Change Portfolio, a key component of our Partnership strategy.

 

The role is to lead the central TxO Management Information (MI) and Reporting function at the Enterprise level to analyse and synthesise reporting data and MI to provide insight and actionable intelligence that enables effective troubleshooting, early interventions, and prompt decision-making. The role also involves facilitating insight from within each Brand and surfacing pan-Partnership trends.

 

You will need to create reporting and insight tailored to a wide audience, from the Exec to Partners. Leveraging your expertise, you will use visualisation techniques and reporting tools available within the Partnership to translate complex information into clear, comprehensible narratives that inform and empower stakeholders at all levels.

 

You will also be the Product Owner of our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool (Planview) and will need to develop a good understanding of the system's functionality and capabilities. Your role ensures that the system is aligned with the Partnership's needs and requirements. Your responsibilities extend to overseeing all system elements, including dashboards and establishing yourself as a Champion within the business. You manage a centre of excellence to promote and ensure best practices across the Change community.

 

You will be a creative leader who leads and manages a team of skilled analysts to deliver high-quality analytics and reporting. You will also collaborate closely with Brand PMO Leads and partner with Finance and other key stakeholders.

 

You will need to be an expert in detailed data analysis, reporting, MI, and Visualisation techniques. In addition, you will need to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, have a consistent approach to high standards and continuous improvement, and act as a critical friend.

 

What You Will Do

 

Reporting and MI

  • Own, manage and deliver the monthly cadence of analytics, reporting and MI activities and processes across the Portfolio, covering Portfolio health, KPIs, trends, outcome and benefit tracking (in collaboration with Finance) and Change Leadership Team Management Dashboard metrics
  • Own and manage the quarterly review of portfolio performance, to present a succinct performance dashboard for the prior quarter, plus a view of the plan ahead and delivery confidence for the coming quarter. Working in partnership with the Portfolio Manager to ensure portfolio performance and outlook is a key part of the Quarterly Portfolio Review.
  • Working in close partnership with the Brand PMOs, initiating corrective action / intervention as needed. Aggregate Brand Line level reporting and provide insight across the entire Portfolio. Lead on managing reporting quality improvements in the Partnership
  • Lead on root cause analysis, trend identification, data visualisation, correlation and synthesis to provide insightful reporting that supports meaningful discussions and timely decision-making
  • Identify and connect to new data sets for improved analysis and insight, working with other Reporting and Analysis teams in the Partnership to share best practice
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and in the ongoing evolution in your team’s ways of working
  • Create and maintain a central reporting calendar with all key dates, with clear and efficient underlying mapped processes
  • Working in partnership with the Comms Lead, own the portfolio content produced for all relevant Partner and Change Community communications.

 

Portfolio Project Management Tool

 

  • Product Owner of the PPM tool (currently Planview) working in close collaboration with the Methods & Process team
  • Responsible for Planview functionality and centre of excellence overseeing best practice across Change community
  • Own the creation and management of Planview Management Dashboards.

 

In addition to the above, you will also be managing a team of analysts.

 

What You’ll Have (Essential Skills)

 

  • Working as an Enterprise level PMO Manager with particular experience in reporting at all levels from Exec through to Steering Groups, across large and complex organisations and with senior stakeholders evidencing exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

 

  • Team Leadership and people manager with effective interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships

 

  • Leading and delivering Enterprise level performance analysis, reporting, MI and dashboards.

 

  • First hand experience in working with large complex data sets, with advanced data analysis, correlation, synthesis and trend identification skills, as well excelling in the Visualisation of MI and data and the ability to translate complex and/or large volume data into succinct headlines

 

  • Experience of using PPM tools (e.g. Planview or Clarity)

 

  • Evidencing ability to think critically and strategically, and work at strategic level as well as at detailed level.

 

What Else You Could Bring (Desirable Skills)

 

  • PMO and/or Portfolio qualifications, e.g. P3O, AIPMO, MSP, MoP
  • Understanding of Planview capability & roadmap (as Product Owner)
  • PowerBI or Tableau
  • Product Ownership.
