Step into the role of Security Services Tri-party Analyst where you will work within a dedicated team to provide trade support to Equity Financing / SBL trading activity, with a high focus on settlement to ensure trades settle on time. Failed trades are costly and can have a direct negative impact on the Prime franchise. The role has strong emphasis on settlement discipline, tri-party collateral management, and operational risk control, requiring effective partnerships with Trading, TCU, Settlements, Collateral Management and global stakeholders.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Strong understanding of cash security trade lifecycle from execution through settlement and post-settlement events.
Sound knowledge of equity settlements including trade flows, buy-ins and settlement cycles for major European markets and Euroclear.
Highly numerate with strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and engage senior management.
Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative and diligence with consistently high standards.
Desirable skills set:
Working knowledge of Global One, Pirum and Equilend.
Experience in cash / non-cash / tri-party collateral management; direct experience partnering with tri-party agents is advantageous.
MI reporting experience and ability to enhance reporting through automation.
Working knowledge of Alteryx for data preparation, MI automation and operational insights.
Python (or similar scripting) capability to support automation, reconciliation and control enhancements.
Familiarity with wider financial services landscape including regulation, utilities and vendor platforms.
