We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Architecture Skills Lead.

In this role you’ll:

• Take responsibility for establishing and embedding a data-led, enterprise-wide Skills proposition for HSBC
• Define the strategic direction for skills, build and execute a multi-year roadmap, and enable skills-based workforce planning, with connection to key use cases in hiring, learning, and talent across HSBC
• Act as a thought leader and global service owner working with People, Governance and Communications, Technology, Workforce Planning, Talent, Learning, and Job Architecture teams to ensure skills are clearly defined, governed, measured, and integrated into core people processes
• Own, manage, maintain, and communicate the Global Skills Taxonomy, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with business needs
• Lead the production of high-quality insights, dashboards, and analysis to support executive decision-making and showcase value

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience of defining, managing or governing skills frameworks
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• Senior-level stakeholder management and engagement within change management in complex, global environments
• Data analysis, interpretation, and insight generation experience
• Experience data storytelling and narrative development
• Strong presentation skills for internal and external audience
