Application Deadline: 3 April 2026
Department: Finance
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Cheadle
Reporting To: Finance Transformation Lead
Compensation: £50,000 - £54,000 / year
Over the past decade, UK Biobank has grown from a small organisation of around 30 people into a global research resource with over 300 colleagues supporting world-leading health research. As we continue to evolve, strong systems and reliable data are essential to ensuring the organisation runs efficiently and continues to deliver impact at scale.
We’re now looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will play a key part in managing and improving our financial systems, supporting data analysis, and helping deliver the implementation of a new finance platform across the organisation.
As a welcoming and inclusive organisation, we value collaboration, curiosity, and people who enjoy improving systems that support meaningful work.
Reporting to the Finance Transformation Lead, you will help manage and optimise UK Biobank’s finance systems while supporting the implementation of a new cloud-based finance platform.
You’ll work across finance and wider business teams to ensure systems are configured effectively, data is accurate and reliable, and reporting provides the insights needed for informed decision-making.
This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in a major system transformation, including migrating data from legacy platforms to helping design and build reporting tools that improve financial visibility across the organisation.

Our passion for diversity and equality means creating a work environment for all employees that is welcoming, respectful, engaging, and enriched with opportunities for personal and professional development.
People who thrive at UK Biobank often talk about the purpose in their work, feeling trusted and supported by their manager, and being part of an inclusive environment where wellbeing and learning are taken seriously.
We’re proud to offer a benefits package that supports your health, financial security, and work–life balance from day one:
