We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our delivery team—someone who is passionate about modern infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native tooling. What You’ll Do
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Deploy and maintain containerised applications using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
- Work closely with development teams to promote DevOps practices including automated testing, observability, and release management.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, deployment runbooks, and support guides.
- Drive continuous improvement, helping the team evolve its tooling, processes, and capabilities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong experience working in DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Proven experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), particularly in designing and deploying cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift for orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) and version control systems like Git.
- Experience implementing or supporting automated testing strategies (unit, integration, etc.).
- Good understanding of DevOps principles and tooling, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Strong scripting or software development experience using Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and operational teams.
- Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation (e.g., LLDs, runbooks, support guides).
- Comfortable working with a wide variety of open-source tools and technologies.
- Able to mentor and support colleagues while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in systems engineering or systems integration.
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as React, MaterialUI, or JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience contributing to bids or technical proposals.
- Familiarity with SonarQube, New Relic, Prometheus, or other observability tools.
