This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across all lines of business and functions within JPMorgan Chase. Be part of the Office of Legal Obligations, a global initiative that integrates expertise from Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other key control functions to document and connect JPMC's obligations to policies and procedures, supporting compliance with material laws and regulations.

 

As a Product Owner in the Office of Legal Obligations, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering workflow and reporting solutions that enhance business value. You will work closely with technology teams and subject matter experts to document user stories, participate in planning sessions, and analyze requirements. This role provides the opportunity to influence key business decisions and drive strategic initiatives across the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

Write and refine user stories, specify acceptance criteria, and manage the product backlog.
Gather and analyze requirements, scope deliverables, and present data-driven solutions.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to influence key business decisions and drive consensus on requirements.
Track and benchmark performance against established standards, providing timely updates on initiatives, risks, and issues.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including training materials, data lineage, and mapping guides.
Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and reuse opportunities, while maintaining a controls-based mindset.
Collaborate with the training manager to develop training guides and conduct training sessions for business functions.
 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather and understand requirements.
Exceptional presentation skills, with experience in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations.
Ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams and projects.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with remote teams.
 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Familiarity with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, Qlik Sense, or Power BI.
