JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Product Associate on the Total Rewards Product team, you will drive outcomes by leveraging your expertise in product development and experience optimization to make a significant impact, supported by research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing and build new offerings. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. 

In this role, you’ll operate across the Total Rewards ecosystem (Employee Benefits, Compensation and Pay Intelligence, Job Architecture, and Time & Pay) to build best in class employee experiences powered by AI and innovation — and partnering with Engineering, Data, Design, Product, and Functional leaders to deliver secure, compliant, and delightful employee outcomes. You will report directly to the Product Executive Director for AI Agents and Integration Acceleration and work as a tight, high-visibility unit. Given the horizontal focus of this position, you’ll also support the group’s operating rhythm and help to continuously drive and optimize the interconnection across all products and channels. 
 

Job responsibilities
  • Drives AI-centric enhancements across Total Rewards experiences, translating hypotheses into prioritized epics and experiments that improve adoption, cycle time, and quality 

  • Aligns releases using best practices and with flawless governance management (e.g., Data Council approvals for PII, privacy and risk controls) and ensures quality, compliant delivery across employee surfaces 

  • Partners across Product Managers to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery 

  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience 

  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers 

  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle 

  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development   

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area 
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, and modern evolution of it 
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition 
  • Proficiency of basic data analytics and data literacy 
  • Hands-on product craft with modern product tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, product analytics/experimentation tooling) and comfort working closely with Engineering and Data 
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with AI-enabled products and integrations in regulated environments, including familiarity with privacy, PII handling, and risk controls 

  • Exposure to enterprise platforms and integrations (e.g., HRIS, workflow, or data services) and coordinating across multiple UX channels 

  • Consistent and high quality organization skills and detail proficiency, with natural learning curiosity 

  • Proficiency with product analytics and experimentation (e.g., instrumentation, dashboards, A/B testing, basic SQL or equivalent) 

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners 

  • Accessibility awareness and user research collaboration; ability to embed findings into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteri
