Our Product Engineering team builds and maintains the technology that powers Manheim Auctions — a platform trusted across the UK to process hundreds of vehicle transactions every day. We’re now looking for a Senior Test Engineer who doesn’t just “do testing,” but takes full ownership of Quality — someone who thrives on making things better, driving QA excellence, and proactively shaping how testing is done across our products and teams. What You’ll Do As a Senior Test Engineer, you’ll be the force pushing quality to new heights. You will: Own and drive the QA process end-to-end, setting the bar for quality across multiple systems. Develop ambitious test strategies that ensure full coverage, reliability, and performance. Lead the design and execution of high-quality automated tests using modern tools and frameworks. Champion continuous improvement — identifying opportunities to optimise, automate, and evolve how we test. Partner closely with developers, product managers, and engineering leaders to influence decision-making early and often. Guide and mentor junior engineers, helping raise the capability and quality mindset of the entire team. Bring a proactive, problem-solving approach to defects, performance bottlenecks, and risk.
