At Amplience, we’re transforming how global brands create, manage and deliver content. We provide a powerful, unified platform spanning Content Management Systems, Data Assest Management and Content Supply Chain solutions so retailers can move faster, smarter and with confidence.
Our vision is simple but bold: a world where content moves at the speed of ideas. We’re growing and doing things differently. That means flexibility in how and where you work, a genuinely collaborative culture, and the chance to learn from smart people solving real-world problems. We believe great work happens when people feel supported, trusted and able to live well outside of work.
What you’ll be doing
We’re now looking for a Software Engineer (Front-End focus) for 3 months initially. Someone who can step in quickly, get up to speed fast and start delivering value from day one. As part of the Expert Services team, this role will be ideal for someone who enjoys solving real problems, working closely with customers and is comfortable owning work from the outset. You’ll work as the primary developer within a small, cross-functional team that collaborates across product, technology and consultancy teams to lead implementations and shape solutions. This will involve turning ideas into working solutions, whether that’s building proof-of-concept applications, creating reusable code samples or developing automation scripts. You’ll engage directly with customers to understand their requirements, translate them into technical solutions and guide delivery through to completion.
What you’ll bring
Technically, you’ll bring strong front-end expertise including strong HTML, experience of building responsive and accessible interfaces with CSS, and a background in developing modern JavaScript applications using frameworks like React, Next.js, or SvelteKit. You’ll be comfortable working with component-based architectures, API-driven systems, and CMS platforms and you’ll know how to optimise for performance, scalability and SEO. You’ll also be confident debugging integrations, working with REST or GraphQL APIs and using tools like Postman or browser developer tools to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
