Job Summary
The Commercial Analytics Specialist will serve as the execution and reporting backbone of the analytics function, responsible for delivering accurate, consistent, and scalable reporting across the commercial organization. This role focuses on building and maintaining dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and operationalizing analytics outputs, enabling leadership, Enablement, and RevOps teams to make informed decisions. The role will work closely with central Analytics and RevOps teams to ensure that data is reliable, accessible, and aligned to defined KPI frameworks.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Delivery: Build, maintain, and update dashboards tracking pipeline, conversion, deal progression, and sales performance. Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and accessible to stakeholders across Sales and AM teams. Support the creation of standardized reporting views across regions
Data Management & Consistency: Maintain data integrity across reporting outputs, ensuring consistency in definitions and calculations. Perform data validation, cleaning, and reconciliation across systems. Ensure alignment between reporting outputs and agreed KPI definitions
Performance Tracking & Monitoring: Track core commercial metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal velocity. Monitor trends and highlight changes or anomalies in performance data. Support regular reporting cadences (weekly, monthly) across commercial teams
Analytics Execution Support: Support central Analytics and stakeholders by preparing datasets, reports, and visualizations. Assist in the execution of structured analyses (e.g. pipeline diagnostics). Contribute to the production of consistent and repeatable analytics outputs.
Tooling & Systems Support: Ensure data flows correctly from core systems (e.g. Salesforce, Gong) into reporting outputs. Support setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of reporting tools and dashboards. Assist in resolving data discrepancies and reporting issues
Cross-functional Coordination: Partner with relevant teams such as Enablement and Rev Ops to ensure reporting supports training and coaching priorities, and there is alignment between systems, data capture, and reporting outputs. Support communication and distribution of reporting outputs to relevant stakeholders.
Experience supporting sales, commercial, or operational teams preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to structure and organize data clearly
Ability to manage multiple reporting requests and deadlines
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills required
Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI) preferred
Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, Gong) is advantageous
