Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 per year

MUST BE BARRED IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT --- THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE
We are seeking a mid-level civil litigation attorney to join a growing defense practice handling a steady volume of cases. This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable managing files independently or with light supervision and is looking for a consistent workflow in a structured litigation environment.
This position offers flexibility in work structure, including remote options for the right candidate, along with the opportunity to handle meaningful litigation work across a variety of defense matters.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of civil litigation defense matters (~40 files)
Handle cases from inception through resolution with appropriate supervision
Conduct depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and conferences
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Maintain organized files and meet billing expectations
Qualifications
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
Experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery
Ability to manage cases with increasing independence
Strong organizational and communication skills
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
Must be admitted in Connecticut; additional admissions (MA / RI / ETC) are a plus
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload
Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote environment
