JOB DESCRIPTION

Be at the heart of delivering new card acquisition capabilities on Chase.com. In this role, you’ll translate product vision into execution-ready JIRA stories, keep the backlog healthy, and validate functionality as it’s built—helping teams ship customer-facing improvements with speed and quality.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Analyst supporting the Card Acquisition product on Chase.com, you are trusted to bridge product intent and engineering delivery to enable stable, scalable releases. You own backlog readiness and JIRA hygiene, translate epics into executable stories with clear acceptance criteria, and provide ongoing clarification to keep delivery moving. You also test functionality as it’s built, track issues to resolution, and ensure delivered capabilities meet expected outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Product Analyst for a technology team delivering new card acquisition capabilities on Chase.com, translating business needs into clear, implementable requirements.
  • Own the backlog and maintain strong JIRA hygiene (story quality, required fields, workflow/status accuracy, linkage to epics, dependencies, and clear acceptance criteria).
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate epics into executable user stories, capturing scope, assumptions, edge cases, and dependencies.
  • Write JIRA stories and testable acceptance criteria for each feature deliverable to ensure shared understanding of outcomes and “done.”
  • Raise blockers and impediments, help manage dependencies, and ensure adequate information/resources are available for delivery.
  • Test functionality as it’s built against acceptance criteria; document results, identify gaps, and log/triage defects through closure.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status, scope changes, and risks/issues that may impact timelines or outcomes.
  • Maintain clear documentation and an issue log; partner with Product and Engineering to resolve items efficiently and improve future delivery.
  • Analyze delivery outcomes and documentation to identify opportunities to strengthen story quality, testing effectiveness, and overall delivery efficiency.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area.
  • Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities.
  • Experience in product deployment processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project plans, updates, and requirements to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their engagement and support.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards achieving project goals.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Align, Microsoft Excel, Confluence, SharePoint) to effectively manage and track project progress.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project documentation and deliverables.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in the card acquisitions or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate customer feedback and insights into product delivery processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
