Front Office Desktop Support Engineer – Trade Floor

Front Office Desktop Support Engineer required for a leading International Bank providing First & Second Line support to their VIP Trade Floor (Front Office) users. You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Desktop Support to include experience in a Trade Floor banking environment and supporting Market Data systems such as Bloomberg and Reuters.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with IT support issues & queries via Service NOW
  • Provide both First & Second Line Support
  • Manage day-to-day support to ensure stability, reliability and availability of applications and services for the business within the Front Office / Trade Floor
  • Escalating issues as necessary per established escalation policies
  • Collect diagnostics and other supporting evidence to identify the root cause of problems
  • Create and maintain all operational documentation, processes and procedures

  • Experienced Desktop Support Analyst
  • Microsoft Windows & MAC OS
  • Active Directory
  • Desktop Hardware
  • Microsoft Office
  • Mobile Devices
  • SCCM desktop client management
  • Front Office
  • Market Data systems such as Bloomberg and Reuters
  • Excel
  • VDI / Citrix
  • ITIL certified / understanding
